About Mark Fayne

Mark Fayne is a former NHL defenseman who played nearly a decade of professional hockey, including standout seasons with the New Jersey Devils and Edmonton Oilers. Before going pro, he competed at the collegiate level for Providence College. But what truly propelled his career wasn’t just raw talent . It was high-level preparation, consistent accountability, and mentorship from coaches who understood what it takes to play at the next level.

Why Fayne Hockey Club?

Elite Development for Dedicated Defensemen After retiring from pro hockey, Mark saw a gap in how young defensemen especially at the high school level were being trained. Too often, they’re lumped into general skills programs that don’t reflect the specific demands of their position or the realities of competing at the college level.
Fayne Hockey Club was founded to fill that gap. Mark works directly with a select group of just 10 high school-aged defensemen both boys and girls who are committed to developing their game the right way. This is position-specific training rooted in real experience, with honest feedback, high expectations, and the kind of accountability that separates good players from great ones. This is where hockey gets serious.
If you're ready to train like a future college defenseman let’s get to work.
